What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
About three years ago, I sensed this strange prompting. To this day, I have no idea why this came to me. I was finishing up my work day, and I sensed a strong prompting to drive to the school where my son was attending. I jumped in the car, texted my wife to let her know, and I drove.
Here was the issue – He wasn’t there. He wouldn’t answer his phone or anything. I left a voicemail and didn’t hear from him for days. I drove anyway. I sat in my parked car and prayed over the school and students. I drove to eat a nice meal, and then I drove home.
To this day, I have no reason why I sensed this prompting to go. Maybe one day I will know. Until then, I will be able to tell the story of going to see someone who wasn’t there.
