Growing in Faith

What is one way you have grown this year?

We are not quite halfway through 2026, but I can already see some growth in my life in a particular area. I began the year as an unemployed man, wondering when and what I would do next. While ministry is my calling, I am not going to try to force myself into a church. Either God calls me there, or He doesn’t. When your ministry skills aren’t considered transferable by many secular employers (or at least to the degree by which you need to be paid to support a family), it would be easy to worry. By the grace of God, I can see myself growing in faith by trusting God with what I can’t see.

Many of us find it easy to have enough faith to save us. We trust that God is powerful enough to wash away our sins through the blood of Jesus, but we often don’t trust Him enough to meet our needs. When you and I do our best, God will honor that. He may not honor that to the degree that the prosperity preachers will tell you, but He will supply needs and take care of His children.

How have you grown this year? I would love to read your experience.
