What could you do differently?
Almost 20 years ago, I worked with a pastor who lost about 100 pounds. When we asked how he did it, he said, “If it tastes good, I spit it out.” I’m beginning to think he may have been on to something. A friend of mine who has recently lost weight said he will chew something a few times just to enjoy the taste and then spit it out. I said all that to say I have some weight to lose.
I have always been a stress eater. When things get tough, I will run to all the comfort foods. With my most recent ministry being an hour from home, my eating habits became much worse. Now I longer have the commute and have the extra down time, my plan is to eat differently.
I could likely name many other things I could do differently, but this is the focal point for now. I look forward to conquering the foods that are killing me.
