Walking, but Not After Midnight

What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?

Most of my reading audience probably has no clue who Patsy Cline was. She was a country singer well over 60 years ago. Fun fact – my grandmother played with her as a child when Patsy would visit a relative who lived near my grandmother. Anyway, Patsy Cline sang the song “Walking After Midnight”.

I love to walk, but I will not walk after midnight. There are several reasons. One, I’m in bed! This boy is out before midnight! Two, if I were awake after midnight, I would not walk around my neighborhood after midnight due to the wildlife in my neighborhood. We have our share of deer, coyotes, and one bear has been spotted. I saw a wild hog a few miles from the house a few months ago, and I would certainly not want to risk fattening him up.

Walking after midnight might be for you. Go ahead! Knock yourself out! I’ll be playing it safe inside…and asleep 😴.
