Transparency from the heart of a pastor

Scrolling, Scrolling, Scrolling

How do you waste the most time every day?

If you’re older, a revised rendition of the “Rawhide” TV show theme song may have played through your head when you read my title. While Rawhide’s lyrics were “rolling, rolling, rolling”, most of us are scrolling, and it’s the biggest time-waster. I would dare say a vast majority of us waste time scrolling on our phones every day. We scroll through Facebook, X, or any other social media platform, perusing useless information. What is your time-waster?

I Agree. It’s an addiction that should not be but has already been engraved in us. Let’s just Hope that we spend equal or more time on The Word and with the Lord than we do on social media.

And yes, I do remember to “Keep them dawwgies rollin’” lol

    1. It’s a temptation I have to fight most days and prioritize God over all this other stuff.

  2. Its so fun though!

    1. It can be, especially when seeing people’s craziness.

  3. Like we give one tenth of our income to God, we should also give one tenth of our days to God. That is 2.4 hours per day 🙏

    1. That’s good stuff!

  4. Solitaire or Jigsaw Puzzles on my tablet are my go to.

    1. Solitaire used to be one of my favorite games on the computer.
