My Story
Matthew was born and raised in Portsmouth, VA. He surrendered his life to Christ in 1987 and to the call to ministry in 1997. He has served in the areas of worship, discipleship, senior adults, lead pastor, and church planter. Matthew is a life coach and pastor.
Matthew learned authenticity and transparency as the results of the trials of his life and wants to give people “honest thoughts from a pastor” regarding life and issues in the churches many are afraid to address. Matthew’s desire is to help those who have been wounded in the fight become healed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew has been married to Jennifer since September 11, 2015, and they parent a blended family of 8 children. They reside in upstate South Carolina.

I have been investing my life in the lives of others for over 2 decades. For the last 2 years, I have been coaching pastors. I am now extending my services to those in all walks of life.
